with the engine running and noticed the top of the dizzy moving round a lot.
It is unlikely the shaft is bent when the whole housing is wobbling.
I have seen this many times and believe the gear on the cam is not running true, putting uneven pressure on the distributor gear.
On a engine that does this I have tried a known good distributor with no change.
