Hi All,
I was attempting to remove the draincock from my 216 to check for residue build up before re-installing this [new to me] engine. The draincock sheared off just inside the block; a 3/8" or larger screw extractor will likely fit.
Has anyone else done this particular removal and can provide some tips or advice on the removal?
Any thoughts on spiral tip versus straight tip extractors?
Should I just drill it out with a 7/16's and re-tap with a 1/4" npt?
