Something just ain't right. Took my truck to the store and back home the other day. About 10 miles one way. My 1949 has a 235- 1955 engine in it. It has an oil filter on it. The gauge reads 0-30 pounds. When it cranks up it will hold around 15#. On the way back it was dropping and when I would let off the gas it would go back to 15#. Then it keep dropping, let off the gas-no good. By the time I got home I had 0(zero) pressure. I think I'm running 30 weight oil (not for sure but pretty sure) Could I possibly need a new oil pump. Or maybe something else? I thank you in advance and will try what ever you come up with. Thanks for listening. Oh, it makes no sound, like knocking or clattering when the pressure is on 0 (zero) When I check the oil it is always full. Thanks so much for any help you may have. Steven (Stock engine)
