| | | | Joined: Jun 2006 Posts: 272 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jun 2006 Posts: 272 | Hello, been a long time since I posted - hey, there's a photo of my truck on the left - the 1/2 ton being filled by a giant loader. Anyway, I've had my truck for over 45 years and thought I knew everything about it but the temp gauge has me stumped. Its needle is pinned to 212 all of the time. I pulled the cluster and maybe there is a spring missing that should be pulling the needle to the 100 mark? If I manually pull the needle to 100, it springs back on its little spring back to 212 when I let go. It is the original gauge, not aftermarket. Any help gladly appreciated. I will have another gauge question soon regarding the fuel gauge as well. Thank you all!
