Keep focused on replace versus remove and things will look much better.
You will not use the front cross member for motor but need not remove if your balancer and pulleys have clearance based on where you set the engine up in front of the firewall. If a small section is in the way and you can cut clearance, then strengthen by welding a lip onto the cut area. If you have to remove the front cross member then look to replace with tubular or slotted beam model to keep frame strong.
You can also pick a cross member V8 motor mount kit, or buy a frame only mount kit but adding the cross member again adds strength.
And the bell housing member will be replaced with a new cross member mount likely moved to place in the location based on engine with transmission placement.
