The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Engine Shop Oil pan cracked and leaking...ok to weld?

I dropped the oil pan on my 49 216 in-truck without any problem. It cleared the front axle and only required the rear 2 piece inspection cover to be removed.
It was unexpectedly heavy and was a handful for one man laying on my back to R&R. Another set of hands will make reinstall alot easier.
