I've been disassembling the original engine/transmission from my 1947 3100. When I got the flywheel housing off, I noticed some deep grooving and wear on the clutch fork pivot ball. The clutch fork socket is also worn.
The pivot balls are readily available, but the clutch forks are not. What is the preferred approach to this? Is only the ball replaced? Is a service "socket" available? Grease it and hope for the best?
Thanks in advance for the advice,
Bill
