Hey 'bolters...
During research on how to proceed on my latest project, I've continually come across "dipping" the cab.
Is this something that is worthwhile?
What can I expect out of this process?
What is the cost?
What I was thinking of doing was similar to what was suggested on this board, except using the relative recent innovation of "spray-on" bed liner...
I was going to drill out access holes in the rockers and other enclosed areas, make sure everything is bone dry and apply either POR-15 or something similar...
On the insides of fenders, wheel side of the fender liners and underside of the cab, apply spray-on bed liner.
The motor side of the inner fenders, radiator support, backside of the grille support and fire wall, as well as the insides of the doors, apply POR-15.
All exterior, visible portions using an "as yet undetermined" paint system, probably something from PPG.
Any thoughts or recommendations on my plans?
Thanks
