| | | | Joined: Jun 2000 Posts: 2,773 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jun 2000 Posts: 2,773 | Cleaning out the holes and using a balancer puller usually works. You can also soak the shaft with Kroil or some other good penetrating oil. Back the nut off the where it is just off the end of the shaft, with most of the threads engaged. Then put your puller shaft against the nut, this saves the end of the steering shaft from getting damaged.
