| | | | Joined: Jul 2005 Posts: 66 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jul 2005 Posts: 66 | Just finished putting the motor together filled it with oil pumped it up with a drill I noticed the next day that oil was leaking thinking it was a rear main seal I pulled the pan and it seems to be the rear pan gasket leaking. I don't think oil gets that high to hit the rear seal. Any ideas? Also I had put in a neoprene rear seal in the block which is an early 1954 should I replace it with the rope while I have the pan down. | | | |
