Its almost funny how easy it is to adjust valves once you understand how it works. If you mark the flywheel for 1/6, 2/5, 3/4 it is even easier. For 1/6 for example, when they are both at the top of their travel, one set of lifters will rock back and forth when you move it off center less than 20 degrees. The other set will just sit there and not move. Thats because that set of lifters is at the back of the cam lobe and the one that's rocking is at the top of the lobe. You want to adjust the one that's NOT rocking. Then you can move 120 degrees and do the next set. It took me about 20 minutes to do my engine today.
