Hy Hambone, the parts books only give us part numbers that are appropriate for a given engine, they do not give us information such as the number of ring gear teeth or clutch surface size, as Wrenchbender Ret. has said the early 292s had 7/16" flywheel bolts the later ones (67 and newer) used 1/2" bolts. I cannot find the part number you referenced in my up to 1972 medium duty parts book. Is this part number for a standard transmission flywheel, or for an automatic transmission flywheel? What year application is this engine for?
