The fenders, grill, and hood on a chevy are different compared to the gmc. They aren't compatible. Go to the gallery and take a look at some of the trucks in there and you will see what i mean. The doors will work however. But during 47-55, there were minor changes. 47-50 use turn handle, no side window vent, 51 has turn handle no vent, 52-55 have push button handle and side vents.
