From Eaton's website: "Using graphite between the leaves would certainly reduce friction without harming the steel like grease does."
I got a "oops" message on their tutorial links, but how does grease harm steel? I can see the grime collecting & making a rubbing compound- is this the harm?
This "harm " must be mechanical (over chemical).
