Well, Caso, they never ask "Deve, what would YOU do?". Of course if they had, it would be using the proper metal strips and wood to restore the truck to its original or better glory. A younger, less experienced me would do the suggestions above. In the end, the metal strips and original type bedwood will be back if the truck lasts long enough.
