| | | | Joined: Dec 2014 Posts: 19 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Dec 2014 Posts: 19 | Have a '49 3100 with a 216...I have an inline gas filter with the clear glass bowl just before carb. I notice there is bubbles in the bowl and it is only half way filled with gas when running..Have new fuel pump and permatex #2 on all threaded connections..Is this normal or is it a possible problem..Truck runs fine but it does seem like it wants more gas at higher speeds...
