Reviewing photos I received from PO of the unrestored spare tire wheel, I noticed three somewhat wide pin stripes. They are faded, but appear to have been Bombay Ivory or a similar color. Two are close to the hub cap and the third is on the deepest part of the wheel. I don't remember seeing pin stripes on Task Force wheels before. This was a 1959 Apache, with base level (Deluxe) trim and was not two-tone. It was a Colorado farm truck, so I doubt the original owner would have paid to have the wheels striped. I have a photo of the truck with the original owner, but I cannot see the wheels clearly enough to determine whether they had pin stripes as it was taken later in the truck's life. Would this have been something the factory would have done?
