Hoping this does not sound dumb, but I am not very mechanically inclined and have been told by a local (somewhat) mechanic that I need a new starter. My truck is a '54 3600 with the original 235 engine. I am wondering where you would recommend ordering one. I believe from looking at the truck's documentation the OEM part is Delco 1107108.
I appreciate the help because I start to get confused when I look on-line and see several choices (again, not very mechanically inclined).
