Since it's apart already, I agree on getting another block. Should not be hard to find a whole motor and get some spare accessories with it, or just a block. You will always worry about the fix. You may or may not have the same luck the others have had. There is movement, vibration, super heated steam and thermal cycling acting on the repair.
