For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jun 2014 Posts: 128 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jun 2014 Posts: 128 | My '41 1.5 was converted to 12v long before I took ownership of it. I was told by the previous owner that the gauges were 6v but the system is 12v. How is this possible. Has a 12v battery and a 12v generator. I have looked over every inch of wiring and have come to the conclusion that its just a 12v truck. Is there something I'm missing in my assumption? I plan on chasing some gremlins in the wiring and solving this will help set the direction. Also, I went over a bump last summer and all the dash lights went out. I checked the fuse in the switch and it is not blown. Where should I look?
Thanks for the help Andy
