Leaving the ignition in the "on" position is to be expected from some of us younger non-mechanic guys, but you?
Seems like this is another procedure from a different time that we have slowly forgotten. With warning buzzers in newer vehicles, leaving a key in the ignition at all is really not an issue any longer.
I think I am going to create a procedure that will eliminate leaving the key in the ignition.
Good to hear that the damage was relatively minor.
