You might as well keep the rockers in original order on original shafts. Wait for other opinions; however, if oil is flowing to the rocker arm assembly and trickling out the holes at the tops of the arms, I'd say you are OK with what you have. Tim 1954Advance-Design.com 1954 3106 Carryall Suburban 1954 3104 5-window pickup w/Hydra-Matic The 216 and early 235 engines are not "splash oilers" -- this is a splash oiler.
