The old mechanical pumps were all just about the same. Only thing that really changed was is the pump arm was over or under the cam fuel pump lobe. Some had pulsator domes but later ones do not.
I have a big rebuild book and all the specs are just about the same... As mentioned, where it fit on the motor and how the lines were routed were the biggest differences.
