I have one of these VERY VERY hard to find locks that were made specially for the 47-55 under bed spare tire carrier. . .
In case someone wants to join the hunt for the lock, the same lock assembly was supposedly used from 1941-1950.
No under-bed spare lock (that I can find a part number for) was used from 1951-1955 (there was a 53-55 bed-side tire carrier lock - scarcer than the earlier under-bed lock).
