Those 6 bolts are the bearing retainer bolts. After they are removed the alxe should slide out bringing the bearing with it. Have you tried a slide hammer attached to the axle nut threads...that just might pop it out.
There shouldn't be anything on the third member end holding it in unless the axle splines are all twisted up.
I'm out of ideas at this point...
