For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Apr 2004 Posts: 888 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2004 Posts: 888 | I've made some progress on my 4t6 bed. I used poplar wood from a local sawmill that I cut to size and dado the edges. I used a green latex paint thinned down to like water and used as a stain then 3 coats sanding sealer. I sanded between coats with 220 and then placed 3 coats of Spar poly again sanding with 220. I want to get it mounted with holes drilled, offset washers in place and fitted correctly then I'll remove sand and reapply varnish. =138319804&filters[recent]=1&sort=1&o=0]Some pictures here. Thanks to all here for your daily input and advice. Have fun and good luck. Dan | | |
