Thanks, Brad. I got the retainer off. Is the front one (the one that's welded) the same length? On my truck it looks like this one has been broken it is only about 8 inches long. I have a feeling that the clips might be for the channel. I thought the rubber used the clips. I'm also changing my thinking about how the outside rubber fits. I thought the small part of the 'T' would be against the window but now thinking that the 'T' part fits in the small channel just below the window opening. I'm thinking that the rubber should be inserted so that the flap (or the 'stem of the 'T') is oriented upward Pic 3 as opposed to downward. Pic 4I'm getting confused and without any reference to the original, I'm stumped. Has anyone done this recently? I hope this is making sense. Thanks.
