All the cast iron parts I have ever seen on my old trucks is a kinda funny reddish, brownish color, sometimes a dark brown if they have been sufficiently treated with grease or oil. MotherTrucker called it boby color. My wife says it is called "rust" or "gunky rust" but what does she know about old trucks :rolleyes: Go with the word from MT and look for boby color, that should set you straight.
