| | | | Joined: Jun 2012 Posts: 1,749 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jun 2012 Posts: 1,749 | Sticky needle and seat. I remember this. I did clean the tank. I did put a filter inline tank to pump. I did put a filter inline pump to carburetor. I did get a sticky needle and seat. My float was OK. the needle and seat were new. So what happened? Old varnish from inside the lines. A good flush and a good cleaning and all was working again. Modern fuel will dissolve stuff you never thought of.
