| | | | Joined: Oct 2001 Posts: 3,458 Extreme Gabster | | Extreme Gabster Joined: Oct 2001 Posts: 3,458 | I filled a 3" round hole in my Jeep body with fiberglass and it stood up to the abuse of offroading and physically removing the body from the frame. It was exposed to water on both sides, too. I filled it with resin and mat, then sanded the fiberglass to knock off the mat fibers that were sticking out, and resined a couple more coats on it to seal it up, skimmed bondo on it and painted over it. It held up great. The hole was in the rear fender where someone tried to add a gas tank.
