I saw an artical in one of the classic truck mags, They were introducing a patch glue on a 57 door. That looks like a good alturnative. Ask local body shops about it. They put the glue on then just stuck the patch on to cover the speaker hole hacked into the door, then just bondoed it up. Lot o luck. I looked for the artical but can't find it.
