Engine numbers don't mean a thing unless your building a numbers matching vehicle all original. You could take your vehicle to a vin. inspector and if the frame is not stolen they can issue a new frame number to register your vehicle with.Or if you have a bill of sale for the frame you should have no problem getting a new pink slip or title for the vehicle.
