hello garys. to answer your first question, this forum is the best tech source for just about any type of work you will do on your 51 truck. cruise through the different sections, and do searches for what you don't immediatly find. all aspects of rebuilding are covered here whether you like stock, custom, or even retro 90's.[to be honest, i don't know what that is]. look in the tech section to get suggestions on where and how to start. the gallery is loaded with pictures to give you some ideas. some of the pictures sent in have great desriptions of the work that was done, and the changes that have been made.hope this helps. good luck
