Those rattle can " chrome " colors are ok , as mentioned the coat is soft. If you shoot a clear coat on top of these it etches into the top coat & turns it into a silver/grey color which defeats the purpose all together. Time to step up to the plate & pay your local chroming guy to do a job that will last for many years.
