So to summarize, from 1947-55 there were 4 Accessory truck heaters that were offered by the GM dealers.

Just had a brain wave, would the
COVER from the Air Flow heater with doors fit on the Air Flow heater without doors.
If it did fit, you would be able to use two cables.
One cable to operate Defrost/Floor damper.
One cable to operate Fresh Air/Recirculating doors.
You would kinda have a hybrid heater.
The cable support bracket on the left would have to share both cables.
And you would have to find room next to the existing under dash
