I have the doors off of my 52...I thought I knew of every piece of weatherstripping/seals that I need to replace BUT...I found the remains of one on each door that I can't figure out: There's a horizontal slot/channel that runs about 2/3rds of the way across the bottom inside each window. There was very little left,and the remains were petrified into stuff as hard as rock! WHAT IS THIS PIECE called/what's it's purpose??
