The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Making a Stovebolt Bed How to tell the correct Year of a Truck Bed 1950? 1946??

I have a 1950 3100 and would like to replace the wood for the bed, everything I see show 9 boards for the bed however the bed in it now has 7 boards, I saw the 1946 bed had 7 boards, is htere any way to tell if the bed is actually a 1950 or if it may be a 1946 bed on my 1950 truck?
