We used them on round track racers and extended the life of the bearings and gears about 25% or so. Putting a fitting above the ring gear at the top of the housing used the splash off the gears to pump the fluid through a small transmission cooler mounted inside a frame rail. The return line went into the left side axle tube a couple of inches outboard of the housing. Jerry
