Has anyone used the aftermarget engine and tranny crossmembers? I'm streetrodding my 53 five window and I have the engine and tranny in but just not sure if its right. Got pictures if you need to see to help me. It seems I had to set engine all the way down in frame and it's forward as far as it can go because the tranny cross is hitting the brake booster and the top of tranny is a hair from hitting firewall. I'm also going to have to hammer the firewall a little to make a little room for distributor. I used dropped axle and lowering springs in front and lowering springs in rear and blocks also. The way it is setting the engine is not leaning back infact maybe a degree or to forward. I've been told that's ok though because it's setting like that because of the suspention not how it's setting in the frame. It just seems to be setting too low in the frame.
