The 261 water pump also has a hose that goes from it to the t-stat housing to help circulate the water when the stat is closed. One hose goes to the heater core while the other small hose goes to the housing.
Some 235 water pumps don't have the extra hole for the bypass hose that the 261 uses.
Are you needing the top piece the radiator hose goes on?
