Maybe it depends on the years and I am not entirely sure. Maybe someone else can verify. On my 62 the channel was supported by a metal frame. I pushed it into the door frame and it stays without fastening. Rolled window up to set the top edge. On my 66 the seal was just the rubber, felted material and I pressed it into the door channel no problems. It stays put. Sounds like you have the material of my 66. | | |
