The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Paint and Body Shop to weld or to solder ?????

I am looking for advice. What I am trying to figure out is how to fasten stainless steel together. 24 guage lap joints is what I need to do. The lap joint will be about 1/4" by 1/4" square.I need a finnish that is pleasing to the eye, if you know what I mean.
