What about reducing the amount of water? Then covering with plastic sheeting? You could hold the sheeting in place with a lot of magnets? Otherwise I would think that it would dry out.
Is the Cab free from the truck? Can you lay it on its back? If so the just make a Tray that is, say 6" deep and line it with plastic.
