Water heated intakes were a mistake when manufacturers tried it, and aftermarket stuff isn't any better. The most need for heating the intake comes during cold start and warmup situations- - - -when the water is cold! "D'OH" as Homer Simpson would say! The exhaust gets hot immediately!
