yes, I know it's called an "inspection cover." Anyway for the first time since I've had the 49' it now has the cover on the bellhousing. No one knows but me and the good Lord but I got one anyway. to the tune of $74.00. The reason for the post. Be sure and put the inner cover on the engine while the engine is out. Lot easier! Put the rear screws on the bellhousing in and leave a little room rather don't tighten them down all the way because the bottom cover just slides in them. IF YOU DON'T, the little buggers are a pain in the rear to get started if the engine is in the truck. Just my point of view.
