I was watching a re-run of "Two Guys Garage" on Speed Channel last night. THey were working on a 38 (?) Chevy street Rod and wanted to provide corrosion protection for the car as it was in a semi-finished state and must sit outside when not being worked on. They installed an electronic corrosion stopper - (http://www.counteractrust.com/) I've never used this product and don't know the cost - but the theory makes sense to me -
using this would mean that you would not have to apply any paint type product that you would not have to sand off when time came to seriously apply finish coat. - electronic rust preventor
