| | | | Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 55 Member | | Member Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 55 | I have a 53 half ton thats gone two winters here in Washington.Its just fine and Its ready to be painted, but it's a f000. And I have a 51 chevy so I stoped and refocused my eforts on the 51. It's coverd with 2 coats of DP 40 sealer primer from Ditzler. Good stuff and it's ment to be a base coat for painting over as zero rust in my opinion isn't a good base and I would sand it off before painting over it.O.K.
