I needed a cowl to fender brace and luckily Brad Allen had one. It is a great piece and I went ahead and cleaned mine and his up, prepped and painted.

It wasn't until I assembled with new hardware that I noticed a difference in the fire wall end mount. They are actually different!

Mine is a 1950,the narrower of the two, but I never asked Brad what year his may have been. Now, honestly it makes zero difference to me. My truck is a daily with a 20 foot paint job. smile

But, if you are a restorer it's just another Chevy/GM
idiosyncrasy you have to pay attention too. Ain't Stovebolts great! grin
