Looking for your thoughts/fixes for removing the divider bars on the windshield(46 Chev)???? Mine have been soaked in PB/kroil/tranmission fluid/acetone seriously for maybe a year(ten years in this project)and not budged. I've read where you can split the frame, Already done that separated into two pieces Tried drilling,tapping and using a slide hammer to no avail. Now request your thoughts on how to remove the bars. I've read the tech tip on how to remove and patch and weld a piece into/over. Looking for anyone who has done this with success or anyone who thinks they have a great idea. Did you split frame and replace/ repair in the weatherstripping side or window glass side?? Reason why you did it that way?? Thanks prior
