Hi all, I am rebuilding the Rochester 1bbl carb on my 235 (7003526). The new accelerator pump with the kit is a bit loose in the bore, the seal is a little bit smaller than the I.D. of the bore it goes into. I was assuming it should be a snug fit, but maybe I'm wrong. Is it supposed to be loose? If not, will the seal swell up a bit and become a tighter fit? The accelerator pump seal is pink in color, I'm not sure if it is leather or rubber or whatever. Anyone here know more about this? Thanks for any help.
